Good afternoon, everyone! Here is a copy of an email I sent to Fritz this morning:
Hi, Fritz!
Just to recap what we talked about during our club meeting:
-we're hoping for more veggie and vegan options (like tofu scrambles at breakfast) at the B&G
-keep up the good signs!
-educating the staff - what is vegetarian
-keeping tongs separate and clean
-major complaint: ham falling into omlettes
Here are some recipes to consider:
quinoa stuffed red peppers--> http://vegetarianation.blogspot.com/2007/10/quinoa-stuffed-red-peppers.html
General Tao's Tofu--> http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=8769.0

veggie pot pie--> http://vegweb.com/index.php?topic=6863.0
Sincerely,
Ariele Glassman
I hope you're all having a wonderful day! Talk to you soon.

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the Official University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Vegan/Vegetarian/Pescetarian blog! That's a mouthful...
We're about food. We're about ethics. While many of us do not eat meat, we're very accepting of those who do. We're about cooking and eating. We want to spread awareness of where food comes from, how it's made, and, of course, the best ways to consume it :D.
OUR FIRST MAJOR EVENT IS COMING UP! I'M SO PUMPED! It's April 5th in the Scott Hall main lounge at 5p.m. Basically, it should be a bunch of nice people hanging out, eating, and becoming aware of the vegan, vegetarian, and pescetarian presence on campus.
I'd like to provide a link to our Facebook group, which we're constantly updating:
It has basic information and vocabulary -- check out the Documents section, too! I put together some links for the curious/new/general public.
Thanks for stopping by!
